On a message board, you are a guest, and it is only common decency to follow the rules of that board.
If you do not wish to follow the rules of that board, then do not post on it.
You should never post 'whatever we want' on a board. Most have rules. Follow them, or moderators and administrators are quite right to edit or delete your posts - that's the deal you make by visiting a board.
Do you have a problem with that principle?
If you wish to exercise your right to free speech, set up your OWN forum or blog etc.
