A second impact
a few hundred thousand years after Chicxulub at some unspecified place on the planet was the subject under discussion.
My point was that there is some evidence that Chicxulub did not cause world wide spontaneous combustion of plant life on Earth and world wide acid rain did not occur.
None of this makes impactors insignificant and their potential to effectively end us is still undeniable.
