re: Update on the .....whatever..... near Venus

Here it is two days later and the 'effect' was still visible, in fact it seemed to be brighter and a little bit further from the planet Venus.

I can not figure out what is causing the effect, it does not appear beside any other star or planet.
I did look at it with the other eye also and the effect was still there, not only that, but I asked my wife to observe it too and she saw the same effect.
Her first reaction was the same as mine, a lens refraction, but after observing it for a while she came to a conclusion that would not be accepted by scientists.

I'm still wondering if anyone else has seen it or if it has something to do with my scope or its location.

If no one else in the world has observed it, then it must be my telescopes fault or something to do with the location where I'm observing the planet.
I guess I will need to update my knowledge of optical instruments and the problems that they can have.
