As further proof of MSNBC's methods, here's Rachel Maddow's story on this same issue.
It uses the same cropped film of the black man with the gun, often endlessly looped. Everyone knows exactly what this guy's ass looks like, now. If you look closely at the still picture flashed in the background, you can barely make out the back of the man's head. Someone paying very close attention might notice that he's probably not a white racist.
On the other hand, through the whole rest of the story, the cameraman photographs other people carrying guns, and pans up for a nice long shot of the faces of the white men carrying them. Archival photos of several more white men are thrust at the camera, including, of course, Timothy McVeigh.
MSNBC's "racist" agenda is obvious.
As a counterexample, here's news coverage from a local station. See the difference?

- That's really disgusting, TB. Tell a Big Lie and just move onto the next Big Lie.
- The agenda is all that matters. Lie, cheat, rob - for the RIGHT reasons of course!

- The distortion is yours. In the interest of honest discourse, let's look at it.
- Remember CHANGE. Change truth into lies.
- The looping of the footage right before they show his head is priceless.
