You see, your view of the boat is completely wrong.
The boat was pushed out to sea and half sunk with holes. All of it's parts were stripped clean beforehand and the motor taken and sold on the open market. All we had LEFT was the empty shell, badly damaged and misaligned.

When it got back to port, it wasn't worth saving, but SOME THING had to replace it. So the whole process of building that boat, with the new 2009 prices and the bloated and well paid working government had to rebuild it.

I find it laughable Tom, that you bitch about this, but never complain about the TRILLIONS of dollars that have gone missing in our defense dept. budget that even the GAO can't find.
