Don't like it, but don't blame Obama
This was a bipartisan bill introduced much earlier this year. It tracks very well with measures the Bush Administration had also been working on. From what I've read about it I don't like it. It reflects stuff long in the making and from the bipartisan security nanny state elite in DC, rther than some obscure Obama effort to "take over the internet", as it is being portrayed by Drudge today (where TB no doubt got the link).
To be fair, I'll acknowledge that much of the Patriot Act was simply stuff that Clinton's DOJ had been wanting to pass too.
