This sort of thing really upsets me.
The USGS was created to collect data, analyze it, and share it with the public. It is about as pure science as it gets. But it has always, from the very start, been a punching bag when it comes to funding. This administration is afraid of science. All science, no exceptions, and they will continue to muzzle, muddle, meddle every chance they get, until they "plunge the land into a second darkness."
