There's a widespread perception that Trump has begun to attack the #MeToo Movement, and the understanding that it's an attack on a wide range of women's rights, their personal sovereignty. And that, naturally, Kavanaugh will be Trump's blunt instrument on the Court.

I'm becoming more and more certain that this election will stomp Trump's Republican Party flat. And that women will play a decisive role. Or if Nov 6th isn't a knockout blow, it'll fatally weaken them for 2020.

I've witnessed half a century of modern feminism, and I know better than to think these women, three generations of them, will give up their rights without a truly epic fight.

This may be their time, and us men may play a secondary role. Which is a delightful irony.
