The Long Haulers
I'm seeing more and more anecdotal stories online of people who have long-term symptoms. Damaged lungs, inflamed hearts, brain fog, fatigue, kidney problems, pancreatic issues, constant waxing and waning fevers. It's not just the 1% death rate. It is previously healthy people having their health destroyed. And all of those assholes at rallies and conventions will spread it to others, and they will spread it to others, and on and on. Herd immunity means not only millions dead, but many more with long lasting illness.
It's smart to hide from this. We could have controlled it if the administration had just followed the 67 page plan crafted over a decade+.
But they are grifting idiots. And they don't care. They might even want it.
