or in raised beds, we install a compost tube. 4" ABS pipe with holes drilled in the sides and a screw cap which is then buried in the center. We dump kitchen scraps right in there to feed the worms. Wouldn't work for the 5g buckets. Which are great for container gardening. Our best cucumbers came from those last year.
