I can also see M33, another Local Group Galaxy, the Pinwheel.

At two o'clock of Andromeda, there is a bright star. Continue in the same direction for the same distance and you'll see another faint oval fuzzy. That is barely visible to the (young!) naked eye, with averted vision, on a good night, if you know exactly where to look. Its about half-way to the right hand edge of the image.

This is remarkable optical performance for a mass produced portable technology. I am impressed.
