But don't Putin's actions feel like the actions of a dying man trying to rush through his agenda before it's too late?
He has long voiced his desire to bring Ukraine back to Russia, but this invasion seems so chaotic and poorly planned, so desperately rushed that it feels like it is being driven by some unseen urgent deadline...
