I once used cold oxygen plasma to clean optics that were too delicate to physically touch. Sadly didn't work out well.
Send me some of the woodchips! I can use them!
I don't have scientific proof, but I think the beneficial nematodes greatly reduced the pests we had to deal with- you just add them to water and spray onto the soil- they then move down through the soil killing larvae of harmful pests in rather gruesome fashion- harmless to earthworms.
BT absolutely worked controlling all sorts of pests- again harmless to beneficial organisms- wiped out the cabbage worms fast. A solution of neem oil, and peppermint castille soap is also effective- but you have to apply it late evening to minimize the impact on pollinators.
We tried adding 100's of ladybugs to the garden, but they soon moved elsewhere... as did most of the lacewings we tried to get established.
