We have no idea what stung her- this was back when she was still pretty young- she loved chasing and snapping at flying insects... she seems to have learned that isn't such a great idea...

We almost never use any harsh pesticides (occasionally use 'natural' Pyrethrins for spot treatments of severe outbreaks) but the level of pollinators we see seems rather low... the big risk is we have no control over what chemicals our neighbors use.

We are planting a lot of flowers to repel pests and attract pollinators this year.
