Joe's performance was pretty bad, but I doubt that will change anybody's mind, one way or the other. People are already committed to one side or the other right now. OTOH, suddenly bringing up a new candidate may throw the whole campaign into disarray, not to mention it will reinforce the idea that the Dems are confused and irresolute. And I think that trying to move around Kamala will only split the party into warring factions.

Joe's followers will make excuses for his hesitancy and confusion, just as Donald's will make excuses for his lies, insults and arrogance. Still, I must agree the Joe Biden I saw last night only fills me with despair. I know he is capable of ruling effectively, but I don't think he can win this election..
