I hear all the time that advertisements like the one you cited, (yes, I've seen it, and I would follow her up the stairs!), are designed to change culture.

I think the ads reflect it. They want to sell a product. To do that they need to appeal to an audience. "Hey, here are people like you doing what you want to do."

And yes, it drives MAGA crazy because they are not being advertised to. In a way, it is "owning the MAGAs".

But it is all about sales. That's it. No social agenda. Just buy our stuff, please.

Like stupid, violent or sexual media. It would not sell unless people want it. And boy, do they want it.

Like my geologist mentor once told me, "We would not be looking for it if they didn't need it."
