I think realistically what you propose would bring more terror attacks, not less. It would be so offensive to the muslim world it would create even more terrorists than Bush's policies did. I think Obama has a much more thoughtful approach by reaching out to muslims with respect and explaining our positions to them on the issues that divide us. Certainly we need to drop the hammer on terrorists but there needs to be a coinciding policy of dialog and cultural outreach. We aren't going to prevent attacks with just endless warfare. We need to win hearts and minds in the long run.
