A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a fellow tried to sue Lucas over the Ewoks. Happened in my hometown, btw (and no, it wasn't me). His "day in court" ended up costing him quite a few bucks, if I recall correctly. And then he sank back under the choppy waves of obscurity.
