The local vegetation runs over the top of it in places.

One doesn't know how deep or solid these are. As far as traffic patterns go, it looks more like a simplified version of a large English city than anything else to me.

I'd wonder when they first showed up, if any of the elements have moved, how fast did they move?

One thing is sure. There are a lot of people who know exactly what they are.
