I doubt it too, though it seems to be perfect for that sort of thing. Imagine, if ground support aircraft could rapidly tell where the goodguys and badguys are in that environment they could be quite effective.

And if they couldn't, it could be devastating. I think, though, there would be some curves in it for that to be the case.

If a pilot and computer could dump all their ordnance in one box, the correct box, or one side of one box they could save a bunch of lives.

The phony airport is a giveaway, though. It's only purpose could be practice/teaching bombing runways. A "real" airport would be too congested.

Just thoughts.
