Gore, Kerry or Obama would all be far superior to Gingrich. So would Huntsman, Romney or Santorum.
But I'm not smug, I'm terrified. That greasy opportunist might actually win, and the American people might just elect him President.
Barney Frank thinks Newt Gingrich is the best gift the Democratic party has gotten since Barry Goldwater. After all, Newt has the distinction of being persona non grata even among many Republicans.
Right now, the only thing he's got going for him is that half the GOP now hates Obama more than they love their country.
