The World Cup... YAY!

I've already told my Boss that when England plays Argentina I won't be coming in because my Cat will have Flu!

As for the ISO 9000X thingie.......

Agreed that, as so often in these matters, it can, and probably has, become yet another gravy train for the middle classes.

Let us not forget the orgins of this however, which dates back to the 2 World Wars.

Our governments contracted with Arms Companies to produce weaponry for our armed forces..... we got Shells that exploded in the barrel's, killing the gun crews... armour plateing for our warships that turned out to be honeycombed with air bubbles etc.

ISO 9000X and it's predeccessors was\is intended as a means of forceing corporations to deliver what it had contracted to do.

Goods or services fit for the purpose intended.
