Re: Radical environmentalism = Anti-Americanism

Where to start!!?? (Not sure that vacation did you any good. May take you a couple of days to recover your composure, your normally mellow demeanor, to slow those fingers down.)

First, lowering the arsenic level in the water kids drink as they are growing up is regarded as "radical" by some people. Lowering the amount of noxious gases in the air we breathe is regarded as "radical" by some people. So, we'll do away the "radical" idea as being particularly weird. "Radical" means not being able to do whatever is the least expensive all the time.

To whom are you referring as the "current environmental leadership"?

You seem to be saying that all people with a concern for their environment and other living beings share the same political beliefs. Is that true?

Or are you saying that it's the "leadership" of environmental groups have the same political beliefs as all other people concerned with the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the land upon which they walk?

You seem to imply a person who is concerned about their environment is anti-Amnerican. And "socialist", a term you use quite loosely. Is that true?

Was I wrong to think you implied the above in your post?
