The arrests should not have been made
But kids have been rousted by cops forever.
This is not taking us down the path of a police state.
It was the stupid idea of a pissed off upper mgt. type in the PD and he is in deep dookey just about now.
Another item to Houston's credit:
The kids arrested are from all socio-economic backgrounds and ethnic groups.
It was not a just hispanics or Asians or whites or African American.
The cop leading the it is hispanic.
This was a police problem, not an ethnic issue.
We will deal with it just fine.
