I had to carry a Tuba home and it was up hill both ways...(Just kidding...About the Tuba...)

Maybe they can use their book bags as an exercise aid in gym class.

Seriously though: I think the problem is the teachers...Maybe the teachers should get off their lazy butts and create downloadable assignments or take-home workbooks that the kids can work on instead of assigning the bland standard assignment of: Read chapter's 1 and two and work on problems 1-A, 1-B, and 2-A to be turned in by next class...

The teachers arn't teaching the kids...The textbooks are...Does anyone but me see a problem with that? How do you communicate with a textbook?
