No one will come up with such a photo showing any other Attorney General in this view. You know why, and they know why: because the photos were deliberately set up and printed by media people, theoretically objective, who want to damage and embarrass the Republican Party, specifically Bush and Ashcroft. If Ashcroft thought that covering the statues would be an easy way to make it a non-issue, he looks to be mistaken.
If this were not so, one would assume reasonably that shots like this of statues that have been there for over half a century would be in existence for Janet Reno and other Attorney Generals. Where are they?
They were never taken, and if they were they ended up on the news services' cutting room floor for obvious and natural reasons. I have not done such a search myself to make sure I'm right. I am so confident of the mentality of the liberal press that I don't have to.
Fifty bucks, folks. I've made this offer before, and like most of my major challenges, a deafening silence has been the result.
