How about folks like a friend of mine, who worked for an Enron subsidiary, purchased his contribution to a 401(k) at $30, $40, $50 and $55, wasn't allowed to get out of it, and now couldn't get $0.50 for it?

Where's his $100 on a $500 investment? Where's his 16%, his retirement? Convince him his losses were only paper.

If you want an example of press bias, check Fox. Young people watch that, at least immature people, and it's bias is right out there. Doesn't pretend to be balanced any more than George Will does. Lessee, where does Will find his way to print? Or air?

But, conservatives regard anything which exposes people to two different views as heretical. That's too bad, because it's a rich, varied world out there.
