Most serial killers are White men, aged 25-40. Do I take offence if the police pull me over at a roadblock and ask to search my car? No, because I know they're just doing thier job, and I am more than willing to help them find such a monster.
I can just imagine a world without profiling, "There's just been a bank robbery, let's go ask a few questions at the local nursing home. After that, we'll try the preschool."
