"The Little Monkey's Interior Secretary Gale Norton held in contempt of court."
And followed with -
In still another case involving the Bush Administration's contempt for the courts, Congress, and people, similar to
stonewalling the committee investigating 9-11,
Cheney hiding the contributions to his energy policy,
Ashcroft fighting the courts over holding American citizens in solitary confinement forever without any judicial review,
and on and on and on,
a Federal Court held Norton in contempt. Now, A KEY BUSH APPOINTEE AND ADVISOR has ignored or tried to subvert the LAWS OF THE LAND she swore to uphold.
Does it get any worse? Unfortunately it does. For now this is a bright, shiny example of the disdain the Bushies have for Americans and laws they find inconvenient.
Actually, once they got the money, the Bushies would love these Native Americans. Their affection starts at about a net of $10 million, and with penalties these folks could be close. Maybe even get ongoing subsidies, buy their votes and influence, sort of like Bush did with the farmers, to keep 'em in the fold.
Then, too, as has been the practice, they would be given jobs in the Bush Administration. Every minority who is Republican has one.
Now, I didn't say all that. Could have. Instead I said this drags on, and every administration for years and years and years has put off the solution.
And I wondered why.
Capice?
