2000 XP vs Me 98
I just looked at some business software that claims not to work on 98 or the Millennium edition of windows. They state, " Now is the time to upgrade your system." (Now is the time they can kiss my ass)
One of the complaints about XP is you can't run "some" older programs.
I hadn't heard that new software coming out wouldn’t be backwards compatible.
Is this a change in design philosophy (to force us to upgrade OS and software) or is it some logical progression required by this wonderful new OS architecture?
Is this situation becoming common?
