It's kind of the way I feel about the M*A*S*H movie and series. The character played by Robert Duvall in the movie (was the character named Burns? or was that somebody else?) was a stick-figure, right wing, pro-war, butt of jokes, and little else.
Preachy. Eventually you get to the point where you say "ok, I get it already."
