I never spell check
Which is pretty obvious as on my longer posts I always find two or three misspe
llings almost as soon as I've let em rip.
I figure these boards are pretty loose and I don't have the time to cutnpaste the text to a spellchecker.
Anyway when one reads old literature, one realizes that our spelling has evolved slowly over time.
I find that a common misspelling may often become the actual spelling after about fifty to a hundred years.
So if we all keep spelling resplendent as resplendant it will only be a matter of time befor that becomes the official spelling.
