I long for the days of a multi-polar Europe.
But instead of letting loose rivers of precious European blood, competing with each other in other arenas. A new age of empires waged in the heavens by the various European powers would be great. The French on Mars, Germans on the Moon, the Brits grabbing Europa, Russians on Venus, and the U.S. taking everything else. =) Now that would be exciting.
