On the reference to Gattica below: It was a very good film but as with most fiction, it probably takes the point too far. We will eventually use genetics to improve our species but I doubt that we would ever systematically exclude those without genetic inhancement. More likely, "Invalids" would be protected from discrimination.
Who would not want to do the things done in Gattica if they were done safely and without the discrimination against Invalids. We can have it all if we proceed carefully.
