I wonder where the Kennedy Clan has traditionally stood on the IRA

I seem to recall that it was the "Northeastern liberal" Catholics that believed in liberation theology and the IRA cause...It is funny how many in the US (Republican and Democrat) have tended to steer clear of attacking the IRA for their past terrorism. But thankfully, the Irish seem to have put terrorism aside since 9/11.
