Canada makes it all too easy for terrorists to come there, no questions asked. A couple years ago, border guards caught a man attempting to cross over into the US from Canada. He was on his way to Los Angeles airport to commit a terrorist act.

Canada is a beautiful country and has been a loyal friend for many years. I still remember with gratitude what your embassy personnel did for Americans trapped in Tehran back in 1989. However, I am concerned about the lax attitude towards terrorism by Islamic extremists and towards security. Don't think that you're immune to such terrorism. As someone was written following the French tanker bombing off of Yemen a couple weeks ago:

The French veto is still Saddam’s best shot at torpedoing any meaningful UN action on Iraq. If you were to pick only one Western nation not to blow up the oil tankers of, the French would be it.



But they got blown up anyway. And afterwards a spokesman for the Islamic Army of Aden said, ‘We would have preferred to hit a US frigate, but no problem because they are all infidels.’

No problem. They are all infidels.
