Sadly three tall tales died yesterday
1. The "non-elected" Majority Leader.
Lasted nearly two years, but alas, this story is no more. Republicans can quit complaining about Jeffords.
Always wondered how you elect a Majority Leader anyway.
2. Democrats stole the election by dumping Torricelli.
This was a front-runner for the last thirty something days. Happily, with the regaining of the Senate by the Republicans this one is no longer relevant. Now watch NJ and other states work to cover up loopholes so that this never happens again (NJ has to - mandated by the NJSC).
3. Democrats will sue to steal election.
Has been running for at least a couple of months. Didn't happen (unless someone cares to correct me). Shoulda bet on it. Drat.
Cheers,
Tony
