HTML rookie help request.

Using Css, On the same line of text how do you apply different style properties to individual words within the line.

What I want:

See Jane run.

What I get:

See
Jane run.

What I tried:

<div class = "normal">
See
<div class = "bold">
Jane run.
</div>
</div>

.Css

div.normal{margin-left:20%;}
div.bold{font-weight:bold;}

Anyone?
