I tried mailwasher, I thought it was pretty good, but it wasn't as effective as Popfile. Popfile is effective because it learns from me e-mail habits personally. I don't like relying on somebody else defining spam for me.
I don't really care for bounce back options as it just doubles the amount of junk squeezing through the internet. I doubt spammers take anybody off the list and the bounce is probably going to a fictitious return-address anyway.
I like pop-up stopper, couldn't live without it.
Steve Gibson is working on a Bayes filter like Popfile. He is calling his Spam Exam. He was working on this pretty hard, but seems to have let it drop off for now. I imagine his will be very user friendly when its complete.
cheers,
Steve G.
