Unclear on the concept
<Now, if one were a capitalistic, one could say that at any given point the barbarians were the most productive, having invested in those items which improved their efficiency, and deserve the spoils.
What's capitalism if it isn't efficient and innovative.
If anything demonstrates that you are completely unclear on the concept of capitalism and productivity, it would be this statement. I'm sure the barbarians would agree that if they wind up with the most "toys," they must be the most successful. The fact that they are still parasites on the producers probably would escape them as well.
