The good old days
I miss my old Delta 88. Look under the tennis-court sized hood and there's a V-8 engine, with a good two feet of room on all sides. About thirty components in all. Those were the days when I could replace a pump, fix an alternator, rework a carburator, and get all the parts I needed from the junkyard.
Now I open my car's hood and it looks like the Space Shuttle threw up in there. I've had my car for almost ten years and I'm still not sure where the spark plugs are.
