I just pointed out the difference between the real world and Bowserworld.
America goes to war for the purpose of victory, and that requires overwheming the enemy -- on all fronts. It is the only way in which America can survive when attacked, and the only way to complete a moral assault (yes, some assaults are morally correct).
Also, I cannot recall a Super Bowl that ended with human entrails dragged across the sands in the arena. Not a sports-buff, so your memories may be different from mine.
