Sun shines on Microsoft

Sun wants to force MS to include its Java runtime with all shipment of windows.

Sun Microsystems tried to persuade a federal judge on Tuesday that Microsoft Corp. should be compelled to include its platform-independent Java programming language in all shipments of the Windows operating system...

Microsoft attorney David Tulchin accused Sun of trying to "engineer the marketplace..."

I've gotta agree with MS, but I love Java so much I'm hoping Sun wins. Terribly unfair, but you know Mr Gates and crew will survive.
