Upgrading
I learned a long time ago that with a Windows operating system upgrade, it's best to save your data files, wipe the hard drive down to the quark level, and start from scratch.
As it is, after a few years of operation, a Windows system tends to start getting "senile," and you have to rebuild it anyway.
