Out here a newspaper printed a daily, 4 digit winning lottery number as issued by the lottery commission, as is usual. However, they printed the next days winning number, the number which was going to win.
Sort of like printing on Friday, December 13, "The Saturday, December 14 Daily Four numbers are 1-2-3-4." Lo and behold, the numbers drawn in public view on Saturday were 1-2-3-4.
The lottery commission said it was "coincidence". The paper said they printed what was given to them.
Now, which is easier to believe, I asked. That the only time a paper gets an announcement by mistake in advance of the drawing it is with the winning number, OR that the lottery is crooked?
There is betting, there is gambling, and there is the lottery.
