Yipes! Bugs!
Got a mantis hatch all over the side of my garage. About a hundred of so of the cute little buggers from an egg case I hadn't spotted yet. They're not supposed to hatch till about May. Homegrown egg cases, too, from last year's batch of mantises. The ones I bought from the garden shop didn't hatch at all last year, and I had to rely on the homegrown ones then too.
The one we kept in the house and fed crickets, I suspect of having snuck off the plant it resided on and concealing an egg case somewhere in the house. Should be fun when THAT one hatches.
