Cat-a-pulting
I taught at a small K-12 school during the 1984-85 school year. One day, one of my 8th grade homeroom kids came in just busting a gut laughing. It seems that the night before, his sister (a 9th grade cheerleader) was in her room practicing her kicks to music. Her cat crawled out from under her bed just as she kicked really hard. The cat went flying through the door, bounced off the wall, and ran down the hall. From then on, it didn't want to go anywhere near the girl. I guess it thought she'd done it on purpose.
