Who is in power now?
i.e. who takes the glory if things go well, who takes the fall if plans go pear-shaped?

Or, even if things go well, the Democrats can complain they should be doing better
(a la Gingrich + Dole), or things are looking bad (a la Bush II)

What's your point?
