"Seasons in the Sun" saw a LOT of airplay in the Bay Area in the 80s. It was requested on radio time and time again by friends, partners, and relatives of the hundreds and hundreds of gay AIDS victims here, and became the mourning anthem of the decimation of that population. To say that hearing it evokes some pretty creepy and depressing feelings doesn't half describe it.
