Cydonauts have chosen the name "Cydonauts" for themselves, not "Cydonuts."
It's like folks' "screen names" that they use all the time.
I get irritated when people call me "Michael" - I'm "Mike" or "Mike F." It's just, plain rude to screw with folks' names.
I think that your being polite to your 'enemies' by calling them 'Cydonauts" is commendable, but "Mr. Grundoon" don't see it that way. It may be the reason for "Mr. Grundoon's" antipathy toward you.

PS: What if Bush called the Chinese Leadership "a bunch of Chinks"???
